Upohar, The Condoville - Just LaunchedUpohar-The Condoville is created to optimise open space to ensure maximum comfort and security. The buildings are laid out and oriented to maximise light gain and air flow, creating a cheerful environment for healthy living. Hot spot at City CentreThe commercial launch of the first Wi-Fi services in West Bengal in association with BSNL was held at City Centre Salt Lake in August, 2006. Presently, this service is available at the Hangout, Café.com and Royal Bengal Room at City Centre. Soon the coverage will also be extended to Pizza Hut, KFC, Café-Coffee-Day and some other locations at the City Centre. The prepaid cards will also be available from two counters at City Centre. Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) is used for mobile computing devices in a
network, such as laptops, and is now being increasingly used for Internet
and VoIP phone access, gaming and basic connectivity of consumer electronics
such as televisions and DVD players. A person with a Wi-Fi device can
connect to the Internet when in proximity of an Access Point. The region
covered by one or several access points is called a Hotspot and it can
range from a single room to many square miles of overlapping Hotspots. |
